RailCorp Service Medals
The Challenge
For many years, StateRail (now RailCorp) awarded medals to selected staff who gave exceptional service to customers - external and internal. The organisation wanted to reinvigorate the awards ceremony, strengthen its importance and prestige, and raise its profile among staff.
The Solution
Corporate Films devised a series of introductory and 'case study' videos
that profiled the work of medal recipients. This approach personalised
the medals ceremony and clearly demonstrated how and why various awards
were won by staff. In this way, recipients became role models, showing
that anyone who demonstrated applied excellence could be nominated for
an award. Corporate Films also stages the event each year and helps presenters
prepare appropriate speeches.
