SES Roof Safety Training Induction Video
The Challenge
The NSW SES (State Emergency Service) needed a video which would reinforce hands-on training and printed support materials used by the organisation to provide volunteers with the skills needed to work safely at heights, i.e. on rooftops.
The Solution
Corporate Films produced a video that is used both as a facilitated training
aid and a stand-alone induction video. Using an SES presenter and actual
volunteers, 'Safe at any Height' clearly and simply demonstrates roof
hazards, risks and safe operating techniques. Situations were photographed
and depicted with great clarity to avoid any possibility of ambiguity
or misinterpretation. The SES has a diverse range of volunteers, so the
video had to be produced with different audience skill levels and backgrounds
in mind.
